2010 AAU Junior Olympics & FIRS Junior Women Cup

The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is one of the largest, non-profit, volunteer, sports organizations in the United States. A multi-sport organization, the AAU is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and physical fitness programs.

 Each years AAU organize Junior Olympics International Division and Junior Olympics Club Division.

 This year for the first time AAU will organize FIRS Junior Women World Cup.

A)  International/Club Divisions Entry Fee:  $595.00US for two divisions.

Airport Information:  Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

 

Transportation Information in Huntington Beach:

A)      The Anaheim Ducks will provide transportation service to the teams that stay at one of the approved hotels.  This includes to and from the airport and back and forth between your hotel and the facility.   

B)      For special discounts on van or car rentals please email me for specific information.

Format:           

Teams are guaranteed 5 games each in the international division and club division with many playing more than 10 games.  Most will play 12-16 games, except the USA, who will

compete in the International Division only.  Team USA members will go to their club teams after the International Divisions are completed.

 

Awards:  Teams will be presented gold, silver, bronze, and copper medals to all members of each team placing in the top four in each age classification.  Team awards will be presented to the top teams in each age division. 

Sanctioned:  By USA Roller Sports and the AAU.  If you need a letter written on your teams’ behalf from the National Governing Body (USARS) or a letter to the US Embassy, please let AAU know as soon as possible. 

 

Host: Team USA Hockey Club, AAU, USARS, and the Anaheim Ducks.
