CIRILH received tonight the first Application Form to attend the Senior Men Event.  SWISS Senior Team is the first again.

2011 FIRS “the OFFICIAL world championships for In Line Hockey” Senior Men will take place at Roccaraso (Italy) from July 11 through 16.

CIRILH received this morning the first Application form to attend 2011 FIRS “the OFFICIAL world championships for In Line Hockey”. As usual it came from SWISS Junior Team.

Junior Championships will take place at Roccaraso (Italy) from July 4 through 9.

CIRILH sent to all National Federations Members of FIRS Bulletin # 3 about the FIRS 2011 “the OFFICIAL InLine Hockey WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS” . This event will take place at Roccaraso,

1. from July 4 through July 9 for Junior Men and Senior Women.
2. from July 11 through July 16 for Senior Men.

To day Canada confirmed that they will send a Junior Men Team, a Senior Women Team (July 4 through 9) and a Senior Men Team (July 11 through 16) to attend 2011 FIRS “the OFFICIAL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS” for In Line Hockey at Roccaraso (Italy).

BIPHA confirmed to day that:

• a Veteran Team will be in Beroun, Czech Republic on May to attend the Veteran Cup,
• a Junior Team, a Women Team and a Men Team will attend World Championships at Roccaraso, Italy on July.
• Moreover BIPHA will send three Youth Teams (U12, U14, U16) to AAU Junior Olympic on July at Huntington Beach CA – USA.

Tomas Brezina sent the message below to Marty Namimoto, who is a Japanese player speaking English fluently.

Hi Marty,
How are you? Are you O.K.?
I would like to express my deep sympathy with you and all people of Japan. I hope that your country would be able to recover from this great tragedy soon.
I hope that I would be able to see you and your teams attending WC in future. My thoughts are with you. Keep fighting!

Tomas received an answer and informed CIRILH that Japan Team players are safe.

Dear Tomas,
Thank you very much for your warmest message which gave me the brave.
Now i could really imagine how awful the flood was in Pisek 2003.
Fortunately, i and my relations are all safe including hockey people.
Japan never give it up and we will be back to WC in the future!

On behalf of the Roller In Line Hockey family, CIRILH would like to ensure Japan People of our sympathy in the very sad time for Japan country. CIRILH wishes all Japaneses to recover quickly from this terrific experience.

The CIRILH new web site is open on March 18 at 3 pm (UTC+2).

CIRILH need a month or so to feed it with past events and results.

CIRILH planned to post all the World Championships results (1995 to 2010) before April 15.

Gilbert Portier, CIRILH President, and Alberto Lastrucci, CIRILH General Secretary, will go to Roccaraso on April 27 to meet the 2011 World Championships Organization Committee in order to finalize the preparation of “2011 FIRS Official InLine Hockey Championships” that will take place there on July  3 to 16. Around 800 players, trainers and coaches will attend this great event.
